Photos from our September 2002 Trip

We were joined on the first weekend for a trip to Fazley via Fradley by Susan's brother and sister together with Harriet and Oliver. Here we are having a leisurely lunch in the sun at Alrewas.

Having dropped our gests back at Barton Turns, we headed east on to the Trent and then up the Erewash to Langley Mill.

Back to Trent Lock and then on to the Soar and through Leicester.

South of Leicester, back on the canal we found John and Joan on Fringilla and spent a very enjoyable evening with them. This photo is taken on the next morning when we were following Fringilla having shared five locks with them in light drizzle.

Have gone up Foxton locks in very heavy rain we mored for the night at Welford. This photo is taken at Welford lock on our return the next morning.

Back down Foxton locks in glorious sunshine.

Another sunny morning as we dropped back down the locks towards Leicester.
